Virus replication, transcription & maturation

Following viral binding and entry, SARS-CoV-2 releases genomic RNA into the host cell which is translated into the pp1a and pp1ab polyproteins. PLpro and Mpro proteases then cleave these polyproteins to produce non-structural proteins such as the RNA Polymerases RdRp and helicase, which are involved in the transcription and replication of the virus. Viral proteins and genome RNA are assembled into virions in the ER and Golgi and then transported via vesicles and released out of the cell. Researchers can save up to 50% on small molecules that affect virus replication, transcription & maturation, as they are up to half the price of other suppliers.

Small molecule inhibitors and modulators of RdRP, viral proteases and the endosomal pathway are being investigated as part of ongoing COVID-19 research. View products: RNA Polymerases (RdRP/ RNAP) | Endocytosis / Endosome | Viral proteases
