Oseltamivir phosphate is an influenza viral neuraminidase inhibitor which once hydrolyzed to its active metabolite can competitively inhibit viral neuraminidase (IC50 = 0.1-4.9nM for influenza neuraminidases A and B).

Recently studied as part of COVID-19 compound repurposing.
