We've been Highly Commended in the 2021 CiteAb Awards!
We were delighted to receive the news this week that Hello Bio has been Highly Commended in the 2021 CiteAb Awards! We were nominated by customers and researchers in the prestigious ‘Researchers’ Choice’ category which recognises and celebrates the very best suppliers and individuals in the research reagent sector worldwide. Nominations for this category were made by researchers who use life science reagents in their work and have personally used the company or supplier they nominated.
Amazing customer service
The nominations praised our excellent product quality, affordability, customer service and support for young scientists. Here’s what some of them said:
"Hello Bio has been very helpful in giving advice on reagents to use for specific experiments. They also offer very good prices for their products. Their support to young scientists by giving grants is very well-appreciated among the people in our lab!”
"I am nominating Hello Bio for making high quality products and regents available for the life-science research community at genuine and affordable prices. The company's customer support is also admirable, even reaching developing countries well.”
“Hello Bio has amazing customer service. Their products are reliable and cheaper that other suppliers.”
Hello Bio co-founder and CEO, Steve Roome, was delighted to accept the nomination. He said:
“We are totally delighted to be Highly Commended in this year's CiteAb awards. And we are enormously grateful to all the life science researchers around the world that took the time and effort to nominate us, and express their appreciation. We try really hard to support scientists and reading the nomination comments was a real buzz for the team! It is great to know that the things we are striving to do are appreciated by the research community - and we will continue our efforts to support scientists with affordable reagents and biochemicals, together with grants and resources to help scientists with their personal and professional development.”
The UK team were treated to some delicious cupcakes from Candy’s Cupcakes by way of celebration!
What is CiteAb?
CiteAb provides an antibody and biochemical search engine to provide a simple way for researchers to find reagents that work, whilst their high quality market data and citations are used commercially by many of the world’s leading reagent suppliers and investment companies.
The CiteAb Awards aim to celebrate the very best suppliers and individuals in the research reagent sector worldwide and have been running for seven years. The 'Researchers' Choice' category, is CiteAb's most prestigious category in which researchers vote for their favourite suppliers. The category recognises the reagent supplier that researchers have been most impressed with, over the past 12 months.
CiteAb founder, Andrew Chalmers, praised Hello Bio for their many nominations. He said:
“Huge congratulations to the team at Hello Bio on being Highly Commended in the Researchers’ Choice category of the CiteAb Awards 2021. This award is based directly on the opinions of researchers - Hello Bio had many very positive nominations from those that use their products, highlighting the helpfulness of staff, the quality of products and the competitive pricing that makes the company stand out from its competitors. This was a hugely competitive category so this is a fantastic achievement for Hello Bio. Well done!”
