Try our products for free with the new Hello Bio Free Trial Program!

We are excited to launch our Free Trial Program for both our loyal customers and those researchers who are new to Hello Bio! Proud of our exceptional product quality, and following hot on the heels of the recent ISO 9001 & 14001 certifications at our Europe-based manufacturing site, we invite researchers all over the world to try our products for free.

We've asked James Flanaghan, our Director of Product Management to tell us more about the Program, how it works and explain how researchers can benefit from it:

Why are we giving away our products for free?

There are two main reasons!

Firstly, we want to help our customers do more with their grants and spending - so we are inviting them to try something new from our range for free. There are of course terms and conditions for the Program, but the main message is that our customers can claim an unlimited number of free trials - so long as it is something they haven't purchased from Hello Bio before. Every saving counts!

Regarding the second reason, it's fair to say that we do sometimes encounter scepticism from researchers who have never tried Hello Bio products before - they want to know how we can offer such low prices, but still maintain exceptional quality standards. Whilst our recent ISO certifications demonstrate our commitment to quality standards, we know that the best way to show how good our products are, is to let researchers try them for free and see for themselves!

What's special about this Free Trial program?

We do appreciate that other suppliers offer free samples - but our program is different as it is very straightforward to access. You do not have to make an application every time you wish to receive a free sample. You just need to create an account on hellobio.com and log in. You will see available Free Trials products that you are eligible for, and be able to order them direct. Alternatively, if you wish to order the free trial products via your purchasing team, then you just need to generate a quote, and ensure that your purchaser references the quote number.

Who is eligible to access the Program?

Any researchers who have created an account and signed-in on hellobio.com are eligible to access the Free Trial Program. But don't worry - if your purchasing team usually places the order, we've got that covered too.

What products are available as Free Trials?

We are launching the program with our popular dyes, labels & stains, and you can see the list of available products here: Free Trial Program Products. We will keep adding to this list every month, so make sure you sign up to our newsletter to find out when the next Free Trials are dropping. If there is a particular product that you would like as a free sample, please email us to let us know.

So how does it work in practice?

It does depend on how you wish to order the free trial products - researchers choosing to place their order direct with Hello Bio, and researchers who use a 3rd party to order their products will have to follow slightly different steps as outlined below:

To order your free trial products directly from our website:

To place your order directly on our website, follow these 3 simple steps:

1. Create or log in to your account

2. Look for the Free Trial Symbol on the product page. Add the product to your basket together with any other products you may need to order (check the Free Trial Program Terms & Conditions).

3. Quote the code FREETRIAL (for existing customers) or WELCOMEOFFER (for those new to Hello Bio) and your free trial will be discounted at checkout.

To order your free trial products if your purchasing team places the orders:

If your purchasing team usually places orders on your behalf, then follow these 4 steps:

1. Create or log in to your account

2. Look for the Free Trial Symbol on the product page. Add the product to your basket together with any other products you may need to order (check the Free Trial Program Terms & Conditions).

3. Use the 'generate quote' feature and enter the code FREETRIAL (for existing customers) or WELCOMEOFFER (for those new to Hello Bio) when prompted, to generate and save a quote.

4. Give the quote number to your purchasing team to include with the order, and your free trial pack will be discounted and itemized on your invoice.

Where can I access the full Terms and Conditions

Please visit our Free Trial Program page for full details on eligibility, how to claim, plus terms and conditions. If you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer care team, who will be more than happy to help!
