July's travel award winner is PhD student Marta Fernández! Marta works in Olga Peñagarikano's Lab at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. Her work is focused on understanding the neural circuits and molecular mechanisms that modulate social behavior and how dysfunction in these circuits leads to neuropsychiatric disorders such as autism.
