Myelin basic protein

Filters

Myelin basic protein (MBP) is a protein that is found in the compact myelin sheath surrounding the axons of myelinated neurones and plays an important role in the sheath's formation and maintenance. MBP is commonly used as a marker for both myelinated neurones alongside Oligodendrocytes and Schwann cells. Researchers can save up to 50% on MBP reagents from Hello Bio - they are around half the price of other suppliers.
