Tris Buffered Saline (TBS) wash buffer to remove non-specific binding. For use in immunoassays such as western blot, IHC, ICC, ELISA. Tween 20 may be added to promote more effective washings. The buffer is supplied as a 25X stock solution that should be diluted to 1X with distilled water. When diluted to 1x contains 130mM NaCl, 20mM Tris, 0.002% ProClin-300, pH7.4.

Prepare and use solutions on the same day if possible. Store solutions at -20°C for up to one month if storage is required. Equilibrate to RT and ensure the solution is precipitate free before use.
