Biological description

Sorbic acid activates the chemogenetic hFFA2-DREADD. Activation of the hFFA2-DREADD with sorbic acid reproduces signaling produced by Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs) when activating FFA2.

Solubility overview Soluble in DMSO (100 mM), and in ethanol (100 mM)
Storage instructions +4°C
Storage of solutions Prepare and use solutions on the same day if possible. Store solutions at -20°C for up to one month if storage is required. Equilibrate to RT and ensure the solution is precipitate free before use.
