Hello Bio launches small molecules for genome editing
Hello Bio announced today the launch of a range of small molecules that can be used for genome editing – including 4-Hydroxytamoxifen, azidothymidine and RS-1. These are valuable tools that enable scientists to make targeted modifications to the genome – modifications that include the deletion, insertion or other alterations of DNA sequences of cells or organisms.
Genome editing techniques include the Cre-LoxP / CreER and CRISPR/Cas9 systems. Small molecule compounds play a crucial role in these techniques and can enhance the overall efficiency and targeting precision of CRISPR/Cas-9-mediated genome editing for example.
We are proud to be at the forefront of science by manufacturing small molecules such as 4-Hydroxytamoxifen, azidothymidine and RS-1 - a range of small molecules that have such an impact on genome editing techniques. Genome editing is a cutting-edge area of research and holds great potential for applications across life science, biotechnology and medicine, so it's fantastic that we can make a contribution to this field.
