Biological description

Protein synthesis inhibitor which prevents substrate binding to the acceptor site on the 60S ribosome subunit to inhibit the elongation phase of translation.

Shows antileukemic and antitumor activity. Active in vivo.

Inhibits SARS-Cov2 (EC50 = 2.1µM).
