Cell permeable GLI antagonist. Inhibits Gli1 and Gli2-induced transcription. Additionally inhibits hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway, downstream of SMO and SUFU. Displays antiproliferative, antitumor and apoptosis inducing activity. Also inhibits pluripotency maintaining factors c-Myc, Nanog, Oct4, Sox-2 in pancreatic cancer stem cells.
