Biological Data

Biological description Potent, specific cAMP-dependent protein kinases activator. Cell-permeable. Unique tool for studying cAMP-dependent signaling due to it cell permeability and complete resistance to cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases. Shows higher resistance against cyclic nucleotide-dependent phosphodiesterases compared to dibutyryl-cAMP or 8-Br-cAMP. No metabolic side effects are shown.
