PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling inhibitor. Selectively reduces proliferative capacity of human melanoma BRAF(V600E) mutated cells. Also shows weak agonist activity at NK1 receptors and acts synergistically with rapamycin to enhance antiproliferative effects. Reduces tumor progression in vivo.
