Biological description Potent phenolic antioxidant found in grapes and red wine. COX-1 inhibitor, potent SIRT1 activator and Hh signaling modulator. Has many biological actions such as cardioprotective, anti-inflammatory, antiplatelet aggregation, anticancer, anti-proliferative and neuroprotecitve activities. Additionally induces apoptosis and autophagy.
