Biological description Irreversible calmodulin antagonist that reacts with lysine residues (IC50 0.87-3.7 µM). Also inhibits calcium-dependent human growth hormone (hGH) release (approx Ki = 10 µM). A membrane permeable fungal metabolite and a phytotoxin. Displays antitumor and apoptotic inducing properties.
