Biological Data

Biological description Selective STAT3 DNA-binding inhibitor. Selectively inhibits STAT3-STAT3 over STAT1-STAT3 and STAT1-STAT1 DNA-binding (IC50 values are 86, 160 and >300 µM respectively). Enhances the activity of cytotoxic drugs. Shows antiproliferative, apoptotic and anti-tumor actions.
