Potent and selective group II receptor agonist (EC50 values are 5.1 and 24.3 nM for mGlu2 and mGlu3 receptors respectively). Displays little activity at mGlu1a, 4, 5a and 7 receptors. Shows anxiolytic, anti-addictive and antipsychotic properties.
