Biological description

High affinity, selective 5-HT2B receptor antagonist with selectivity over 5-HT2A and 5-HT2C receptors (Ki values are 0.75, 21.63 and 28.7 nM at 5-HT2B, 5-HT2C and 5-HT2A receptors respectively). Active in vivo and orally active. Displays antihypertensive activity.
