Biological description

Nonionic detergent commonly used to solubilize water-insoluble dyes. F 127 (20% solution in DMSO) is used to disperse AM (acetoxymethyl) esters of ion indicators including Fluo-4 AM UltraPure, Fura-2 AM (Cell permeant) and BAPTA-AM, as well as cell tracer dyes such as CFDA-SE. F-127 (10% solution in water, sterile-filtered) also available.
