Biological description Potent and selective p38α MAPK inhibitor. Exhibits 20-fold selectivity for p38α over p38β (Ki = 200 nM). Shows little or no activity at other MAP kinases. Inhibits TNFα and IL-1β (IC50 values are 45 and 51 nM respectively). Displays anti-inflammatory properties.
