Biological description Broad enzyme inhibitor. Dihydrate form of Quercetin. Inhibits many enzymes such as tyrosine protein kinase, phosphodiesterase and phospholipase A2. Inhibits L-type voltage-gated calcium channel inward currents and increases voltage-gated K+ channel currents. Shows many actions such as antioxidant, neuroprotective, antidepressant, anxiolytic, antitumor, antiasthma and vasodilator actions.
