Antioxidant. Radical scavenging activity towards DPPH and superoxide. Shows a suppressive effect on the expression of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) induced by tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha). Insecticidal agent.
