Biological description Small molecule RNA polymerase II inhibitor. Also induces dose-dependent cytotoxicity (IC50 = 4.81 µM) and disrupts interaction of PKCι and cyclin-dependent protein kinase 9/cyclin T1 complex. Anticancer agent that induces apoptosis. Displays antiproliferative properties.
