Biological description Water soluble. Potent protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) and 2A (PP2A) inhibitor (IC50 values are 3 and 0.2-1 nM). Found in the black sponge Halichondria okadai. Mimics effects of insulin on glucose transport in adipocytes. Displays tumour promoting properties.
