Non-selective 5-HT2 receptor antagonist (Ki values are 8 and 8.1 nM for h5-HT2A and 5-HT2C receptors respectively). Has moderate affinity for 5-HT6 and shows action at other receptors including κ-opioid, α2 and H1. Shows antidepressant and antiemetic action.
