"Romina is one of the people who believes most strongly in researching and studying the causes of chronic pain. Currently, she is expecting a baby girl (7 months) and, despite this, continues to come to the lab, dedicating herself to students and colleagues, and striving to impart her knowledge to those who need it most. I believe she is the person who most deserves this award."
