"Dr Emrah Eroğlu, I won't talk about his scientific success, as it's not even a topic to be discussed. But I can talk about how much great PI I have and how much lucky I am to be under such wise supervision. Although I was at my undergraduate level when I met him the first time, he believed that I deserved a chance, and after lots of hard challenges, he gave me a life changing chance. I can say that he is inspiring me even in the way that he is making science in, unconventionally, and unique. In a few months he added to me a lot, but the most important thing might be to like what I am doing, do it with passion, where spotting an expected signal in the microscope will bring weeks of happiness, not to mention that thanks to his valuable ideas that is always the case. Also, he cares so much about his students, asks, and shares concerns about our future sometimes even more than us, beside that, he always encourages and supports our global participation in conferences and events.

Shortly, guided by Dr. Eroğlu's philosophy of "less is more" we all learnt how to conduct impactful science, become unique scientists, and approach our academic journey with passion and love. And it's my fortune to be a contributor to such a valuable and joyful science."

"I must say he is the best PI I have ever seen. He is always available for his lab members from undergrads to post docs. He never calls us his students, but his colleagues which shows how much he respects and trusts our ideas and work. He keeps us motivated, helps us designing our experiments and pushes us enough so that we do our best. Besides, he is extremely supportive in other aspects of our lives as well. He always makes sure that we do not struggle in our personal lives. and in one word he is the best!"
