"I've known Concetta for about three years as I worked under her supervision at the Italian Institute of Technology.

Conny is a precise and creative researcher. She is always a pioneer and completes her responsibilities before the pre-determined time. After establishing projects, Conny comes with the completed results and then the manuscript ready for submission without the need to push her. She always subordinates her personal aspiration and has good relationships and behaviors with other team members as well.

To sum up, Conny is a successful and active researcher in biomaterials and drug/vaccine delivery fields from both chemistry and bioengineering points of view. She is very active and I recognized her ability to manage her time among the different duties which helps her well in a college setting."

"Concetta and I crossed paths when she was a postdoctoral research associate and I was completing my PhD. Throughout our collaboration, I witnessed her outstanding knowledge and skills in the areas of protein synthesis, drug delivery, and various characterization methods, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and mass spectrometry. Her proficiency in these techniques significantly contributed to the success of our research endeavours. We collaborated on different projects on the encapsulation of Laccase, collagenase, and bacteriophage into microparticles and incorporating them into microneedles.

One of the most remarkable projects we worked on together involved encapsulating bacteriophages into Poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microparticles. Concetta played a pivotal role in this project, offering her expertise not only in the encapsulation process but also in functionalization and the analysis of drug release profiles using advanced spectroscopy techniques. Her meticulous attention to detail and solution-oriented mindset were invaluable throughout the entire research process.

What impressed me the most about Concetta was not only her technical prowess but also her unwavering support and kindness. She was always willing to assist, mentor, and guide me, making the learning experience during my PhD immensely enriching. Concetta's dedication to her work and her colleagues is exemplary, and her collaborative spirit fosters a positive and productive research environment.

In summary, Concetta is an exceptional scientist and an outstanding individual. Her expertise, dedication, and supportive nature make her an asset to any team or project she is involved in. I have no doubt that she will continue to excel in her future endeavors and contribute significantly to the scientific community. I wholeheartedly endorse her application and have the utmost confidence in her abilities."
