Biological description Phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt pathway inhibitor. Inhibits NO, prostaglandin E2 and TNF-α production. Inhibits NFκB and scavenges superoxide and peroxyl radicals. Shows anti-inflammatory, antitumor and anti-angiogenic actions.
