Slow-releasing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) donor. Water-soluble. Inhibits LPS-induced release of proinflammatory mediators and increases synthesis of anti-inflammatory chemokines. Shows anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombotic vasodilatory and antihypertensive activity.
