From programming complex image analyses in MATLAB to fine-tuning the two-photon microscope, Stefano deals technical problems with impressive skill and patience. When something does not work (whether it’s a laser, a lamp, or even a hydrogel) he’s the one we call. And, without fail, he finds a way to solve the problem. But Stefano’s contribution goes far beyond technical expertise. He’s the person who checks in when experiments go wrong, and who brings calm and perspective when the lab feels like chaos.
