"I have known Miguel for more than 13 years. We have completed so many projects and we both are working at multidisciplinary department with more than 120 people. I have never seen Miguel say no to collaboration and I have witnessed Miguel stepping into many PhD projects to save PhD students progress and their mental health. He is the nicest guy you can meet and his scientific career is amazing (track record and collaborations). Everybody at the department knows that if a project is going downhill, you can always speak with Miguel and he will save you. Therefore, I am sure he fully deserves this appreciation of his personality and work."
