"Dr. Pritzel has been working in the laboratory with exceptional dedication for almost twenty years now: he supervises numerous student theses, assists doctoral students with their experiments in the laboratory, and also independently develops new methods and adaptations for the existing equipment in order to answer even the most unusual scientific questions. Thanks to his high level of technical and methodological knowledge, he has experimentally supported numerous industrial collaborations and third-party funded projects with great success. In addition, working with him is also very enjoyable due to his motivation and cheerful personality. Many students owe at least part of their success to him—as I myself do: he was one of my internship supervisors during my studies, my enthusiastic colleague during my doctoral studies, and now, after I became a professor, he is an extremely resourceful cooperation partner. I am convinced that he more than deserves this award."
