Elizabeth Berry is nominated in the Lab Heroes Awards - TM
Elizabeth Berry, Leonard Lab/Cell Biology, New York Medical College, USA
"Liz should win this award because even though she is in the final push for her PhD thesis, she continues to give her amazing positive support to everyone else in the lab. She is great at explaining complex ideas in simple terms, she is a super multiplexer, keeps other projects on schedule, she organizes lab chores, helps accomplish other people's projects, posts to Instagram (@nature.neuroscience.phd) about women in STEM, oh and developed two new lectures for Graduate Biochemistry. She is definitely our lab hero - and she just got engaged! Congrats!"
Nominated by Chris Leonard, Leonard Lab/Dept of Physiology, New York Medical College, USA

This is your chance to give back to the scientists who make – or who have made – a positive difference to your life, career, and workplace. That might be putting in extra effort in the lab, supporting their colleagues in difficult times, producing incredible results through their work, or making the lab a better place for everyone...
