Lab Heroes Awards 2017 Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Lab Heroes Awards, entrants (nominators and nominees) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions; any breach of these Terms & Conditions by a winner may result in the forfeiture of their prize. In the event of any dispute regarding the Awards and/or these Terms & Conditions the decision of Hello Bio shall be final.

Award entries are open to any and all employees or PhD researchers working in a life sciences lab, excluding employees of Hello Bio (the Promoter) and the Scientific Advisory Board of Hello Bio. The Promoter reserves the right to ask entrants for verification, including but not limited to: address; proof of residency; proof of employment; age and name. No purchase necessary. One entry per person.

To be considered a valid entry, the nominator will need to complete all required fields on the awards nomination form. The nominator must ensure that they have permission of the nominee before providing the nominee’s email address, telephone number and photograph.

The winning entries will be chosen by Hello Bio.

Entry for the Awards opens on 06.11.17 and closes on 03.12.17 (the “Promotional Period”). Participants must submit their entries before 23:59 BST on the closing date. Winners will be selected on 04.12.17 and will be notified via the contact email address and / or telephone number provided on the nomination form. Winners must respond to the communication within 3 working days or the prizes will be offered to another entrant.

Winners may be requested to take part in the publicity of these Awards. By nominating an entrant for the Awards you grant us permission to use entrants’ names and likenesses for advertising and future promotional purposes without additional compensation.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in a disruption to the Awards.

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, terminate or suspend the awards at any time.

Spammers will be disqualified and be considered ineligible to enter. Any entry will be void if the Promoter deems it incomplete, illegible or it has been made by an ineligible person.

You understand that you are providing your information to Hello Bio. The information you provide will only be used for communications related to the Awards unless you opt in to receive future marketing communications.

By participating in this Promotion, you agree to release, discharge and hold the Promoter harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Promotion or use of any prize awarded (save that nothing shall limit Hello Bio liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

All prizes are as stated, there is no cash alternative and the prizes are non-transferable.Travel grant prizes will be provided for attendance at a scientific conference or event, to be used towards direct travel and accommodation costs and registration fees. Proof of planned attendance will be required.
