"Esau is one of those scientists who utilizes every resource available to creatively give the best possible insight regarding a research question. He makes us think in unique perspectives possible. I believe anyone who challenges your perspectives with a strong understanding of it are the best people to have around. While I learnt a lot from him, I can say he is one of the reasons for me and a few others to be independent researchers as well. With this contributions towards science, and his collaborative spirit, I strongly believe every space in this world needs someone who is an Esau and would be deserving this award. This award or not, we are immensely grateful for Esau, the workhorse!"
